What is the target audience?
The course will be tremendously useful for any practicing massage therapist or beginners in this field.
I’m a licensed massage therapist and have been in practice since 1994. Like many who are participating in this course, I started out working as an independent contractor for other people’s businesses for a couple of years. Then one day I realized, “You know what? I’m too hard-headed to do it other people’s way. I have my own ideas and really need to be in charge!” So I went out and started my own practice, Balance Massage Therapy – or just Balance for short.
CHAPTER 1: MARKETING: A NEW DEFINITION
Before we move any further, I think it is important to share my definition of marketing. Simply put, I believe that marketing is everything that “touches” (or makes an impression on) a client or prospect and causes them to want to do business with you for the first time or the next time. Hence the brand name of my collection of marketing tools, educational products and coaching programs. Of course in the case of negative touches and impressions, which I call anti-marketing, they may cause people to do business with you for the last time or perhaps not at all! Thus marketing is everyone’s job.
